Location: 61 W. Penny Road, South Barrington, Illinois 60010
Time Control: G/30 5 rounds; NEW TIME CONTROL FOR OPEN SECTION! G/45 4 ROUNDS.Schedule: Round 1 begins at 10:00 am with the next four rounds to follow afterwards. We anticipate that the tournament will be over at 3:00 pm.
No elimination. Everyone plays all 5 rounds!
Sections: 1. Primary (Grades K-3) 2. Elementary (4-5) 3. Open: Middle School, High School and Adults 4. Unrated
All players that are not playing in the unrated section must have a USCF ID!
Awards:
Top 5 Individual trophies for each section
Top 3 Individual trophies for each grade K-5
Top Individual trophy for grades 6-12
Top 3 Team trophies in each rated section
Top 5 trophies in Nonrated section.
All Kindergartners receive participation medals!
Entry Fee: $25 if received before May 29th, $30 if received before May 29th, $35 on-site. Players rated over 1600 get a free entry fee; the first five players who register rated over 2000 get a $25 appearance fee!
